The third international seminar of the OERCO2 Project was held on May 16th in Sevilla.
This seminar, organised by the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería de Edificación o the University of Sevilla, took place in the Colegio Oficial de Aparejadores y Arquitectos Técnicos de Sevilla (https://www.coaat-se.es/). It was attended by experts and entrepreneurs from the construction and environmental policy sectors in Spain and from the educational field, as well as all the project members: Universidad de Sevilla (USE), Asociación Empresarial de Investigación Centro Tecnológico del Mármol, Piedra y Materiales (CTM), CertiMaC Soc. Cons, a r. L. (CertiMaC), Centro Tecnológico da Ceramica e do Vidrio (CTCV), Universitatea Transilvania Din Brasov (UTBV), Asociatia Romania Green Building Council (RoGBC).
Representatives of the University of Sevilla and partners of the Project presented the results, emphasising on the interactive CO2 Tool for CO2 emissions calculation (http://co2tool.oerco2.eu/es-ES). This seminar was the way to make known this free Tool, which was evaluated by attendees through surveys delivered at the entrance to the event. The feedback of attendees will be considered for the implementation of improvements in the Tool.
Afterwards a round table with experts was organized to discuss about development of environmental indicators adequated to building project. Representatives of companies like Sika and Isover from Saint-Gobain gave a speech there.
